The UPV Teaching and Learning Resource Center, in collaboration with the Mathematics Cluster of the Division of Physical Sciences and Mathematics, presents AlgeBreak!: Breaking Down Problems into Solutions – a Supplemental Program for Mathematics Courses on November 26 (Saturday), 2022 at 9:30 AM.
This program aims to refresh and enrich students with foundation topics in Algebra to get them ready for their incoming examinations.
The topics to be covered by the program are as follows:
Session 1: Real Numbers System, Laws of Inequalities (Order Axioms), Laws of Exponents, and Special Products with Prof. Jeoffrey Libo-on (9:45 AM to 10:45 AM)
Session 2: Factoring of Polynomials, Solving Equations, and Solving Inequalities with Prof. Marierose Chavez (11:00 AM to 12:00 NN)
Session 3: Least Common Denominators, Fractions, and Equations Involving Rational Functions with Prof. Maryene Sy Piecco (1:45 PM to 2:45 PM)
Session 4: Simplification of Radicals, Equations involving Radicals, and Radicals in Derivatives with Prof. Raquel Cajayon (3:00 PM to 4:00 PM)
Please note that this program is open to all UPV students, but priority will be given to those with recommendation from a Mathematics Cluster faculty member.
