TLRC-MILC FACILITIES RESERVATION

We have made reservation of facilities easier for you!

The UPV Teaching and Learning Resource Center offers Audio-visual Rooms and an Interactive Classroom that are available for classes, trainings, seminars, workshops, fora, and film showings. The facilities of the TLRC are fully furnished with multimedia equipment. The TLRC AVR is located at the basement of the College Union Building and the MILC-ILP AVR and Interactive Classroom are located at the basement of the College of Arts and Sciences.

To reserve the facilities of the TLRC, follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Check the USE OF FACILITIES CALENDAR for availability of facilities on our website: https://tlrc.upv.edu.ph/calendar-of-activities/

Step 2: If your desired schedule for a facility is available, fill out the RUFF (Request for Use of Facilities Form): https://tlrc.upv.edu.ph/ruff/
Note: The facilities of the UPV TLRC are only availableMondays-Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding holidays)

Step 3: Coordinate with the TLRC staff for payment for the use of facilities (if applicable). Check out the rates for the use of facilities: https://tlrc.upv.edu.ph/avr/
Note: Faculty members are entitled to three (3) FREE uses of each facility per section per semester.

Step 4: Wait for the approval of the TLRC Director. Your schedule will be reflected on the Calendar once approved. You may follow up via email: lrc.upvisayas@up.edu.ph or via phone call: (033) 315-8909 (loc. 248) for TLRC AVR or loc. 411 for MILC-ILP AVR and Interactive Classroom.

PEER TUTORIAL PROGRAM: CALL FOR TUTEES

To address your learning needs, the UPV Teaching and Learning Resource Center offers its Peer Tutorial Program wherein volunteer Tutors are provided the opportunity to mentor their fellow students.
The TLRC has seven (7) volunteer tutors for this semester and will be offering tutorials on the following subjects:
Mondays:
1:00-2:30 – Calculus (3 slots)
2:30-4:00 – Physics (3 slots)
2:30-4:00 – Psychology 150 (3 slots)
Tuesdays:
10:00-11:30 – Inorganic Chemistry (3 slots) *
11:00-1:00 – Communication (3 slots)
1:00-2:30 – Psychology 101 (3 slots)
2:30-4:00 – Psychology 171 (3 slots)
2:30-4:00 – Statistics (3 slots)
Wednesdays:
8:30-10:00 – Communication (3 slots)
10:00-11:30 – Political Science 101 (3 slots)
11:30-1:00 – Oral Communication (3 slots)
1:00-2:30 – Inorganic Chemistry (3 slots) *
1:00-2:30 – Communication (3 slots)
2:30-4:00 – Political Science 101 (3 slots)

Dear students and teachers:

Visit the Teaching and Learning Resource Center (TLRC), committed to enrich your teaching and learning experiences. TLRC offers learning assistance programs and services for students and, organizes enhancement programs for teachers.

Enjoy the learning spaces as you work individually or in small groups to encourage meaningful learning engagement.

Have access to audio-visual rooms as venues for trainings, conferences, curricular and co-curricular activities. The newly-opened ‘hobbyist hub’ offers you a working space to design and make ‘doable’ projects.

Avail of TLRC’s printing, computer and, do-it-yourself resources for learning purposes. Play educational games and have fun while learning.

Join the book club and movie club, and enjoy reading e-books and watching educational films of various genres.

Should you have queries, visit our office or go to our website and join our administrator for a chat.

OUR SERVICES

TLRC offers a learning space for teachers and students needing a place to work on their thesis, assignments and other academic requirements using the computer

The Audio-Visual rooms (TLRC-AVR and ILP-AVR) are available for training, seminars, workshops, fora, and film showings. The AVRs are fully furnished with multimedia equipment. The TLRC-AVR provides a comfortable space for fifty (50) persons and the ILP-AVR accommodates only a maximum of 100 persons.

TLRC also offers laser, digital printing and photocopying, lamination and ring binding at a minimal cost.

Students conduct peer-to-peer learning, make group assignments, study, work on term papers and other academic requirements in a cool and cozy atmosphere. For those who simply want to relax and destress themselves, TLRC provides recreational learning materials and game boards

This program is offered during the academic year for students who find difficulty coping with subjects in Mathematics, Chemistry, Statistics and Communication and Physics. This learning assistance program provides opportunity for students to mentor their fellow students.

How do we reserve facilities in TLRC such as AVR and the ILP?

Fill out the reservation form, submit it to any TLRC staff to confirm availability of the requested facility, pay the appropriate amount at the Cash Office, and present your receipt to the TLRC staff to confirm your reservation. Click here for more info.
