UPV Teaching and Learning Resource Center

Learning Spaces

The UPV Teaching and Learning Resource Center opens its doors to students in need of learning spaces especially those in the limited face-to-face classes. To ensure the safety of the students, the TLRC will implement the following guidelines for the use of the said learning spaces:

GUIDELINES FOR THE USE OF THE ACADEN (COMPUTER SERVICES) AND ESTUDIO (STUDENT LOUNGE) DURING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LIMITED FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

1. TLRC will open its learning spaces: Acaden (for computer use) and Estudio (for study space) during the implementation of the limited face-to-face classes.

2. The facilities will cater the following maximum capacity per schedule:

Acaden – 8 pax in the morning time slot (9:00-12:00); 8 pax in the afternoon time slot (1:00-4:00)

Estudio – 16 pax in the morning timeslot (9:00-12:00); 16 pax in the afternoon time slot (1:00-4:00)

3. Students should reserve their slot prior to their preferred schedule. Students may reserve their slot through: <> and wait for the TLRC staff to confirm their slot. No confirmation of slot, no use. Note: Students who had their reservation confirmed must show up during their preferred schedule. Students who fail to do so three times will be issued a warning. Substitution of slots (i.e. proxy) is not allowed (non-transferrable). Confirmation will be sent via UP mail.

4. Students who are officially enrolled but not part of the limited face-to-face classes (e.g. visiting, those residing outside campus, etc.) need to present their vaccination card upon reservation.

5. Clients who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to enter the premises.

6. Students must log-in by scanning their UPID using the computerized monitoring system upon entering the facilities.

Students should follow and remain in their assigned seats. For the safety of users, seat-hopping is prohibited. Eating is not allowed inside the premises.

7. The areas will be disinfected before the morning time slot, in-between time slots, and after the afternoon time slot. Students will be advised to vacate the areas during these times.

8. Limits on the capacity of the facilities will be strictly enforced. No appointment, no use of the facilities.

SPF Survey

The Teaching and Learning Resource Center invites all UPV constituents (students, faculty, staff, and REPS) to answer its SPF 2024 Survey, a survey dedicated to help the TLRC grasp specific needs of the UPV clients with regards to its services, programs, and facilities. Responses on this survey would allow the TLRC gain insights on how to improve its service delivery, delivery of programs, and utilization of facilities. Help us enrich your teaching and learning experience. Answer the TLRC SPF2024 Survey through this link:
